Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position with potential for permanent conversion.

You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accurate data handling in a fast-paced oncology diagnostic setting. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with benefits available. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for extension or perm hire.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required in the employing state.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens according to protocol.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens following procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Verify test requisitions and ensure matching labels.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations.
