RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in San Antonio, TX. The role requires experience in oncology diagnostic phlebotomy and involves a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

The position involves blood collection, specimen labeling, data maintenance, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines. Potential for permanent placement exists based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• 6 months minimum venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws with venipuncture using straight or butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen information and document maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Pack and transport specimens according to protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and review laboratory results as needed.
