Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens per standard procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Document maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure proper labeling and chain-of-custody of specimens.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
