Qualifications

• Requires current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in infection control principles.
• Ability to read and perform basic math.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage high workload with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Take vital signs and report abnormalities to the RN.
• Encourage walking and assist with baths and meals.
• Provide fresh linens and gowns; maintain clean, orderly patient surroundings.
• Assist with safety measures such as gait belts and alarms.
• Provide compassionate bedside care in a fast-paced environment.
