Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN). You will provide direct and indirect patient care, triage, and care coordination for oncology outpatients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Requires WA RN license (MSL possible), BLS, and oncology experience or training. The role offers comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities; salary is hourly with a broad pay range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current WA RN license or MSL; upgrade to WA within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification required and renewal every 2 years.
• Oncology nursing experience or training preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and time management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care management to a patient panel and act as primary contact for complex outpatients.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.
• Coordinate with inter-disciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Refer to social work, home health, nutrition, and other resources as needed.
• Document nursing activities accurately and participate in quality initiatives.
• Attend team meetings and collaborate with care team to meet patient needs.
