Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Hematology & Hematologic Malignancies. This part-time RN role provides care management, triage, and education for complex outpatients within a multidisciplinary team.

The CNC will coordinate with social work, home health, nutrition, and research teams, ensuring continuity of care and integration of evidence-based practice for patients across our hematology service line.

Qualifications

• RN with Washington MSL license; must update to WA residency within 60 days of hire
• Oncology nursing experience preferred; training provided
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required every two years
• BSN preferred; OCN or BMT RN desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide care management for entire patient panel in hematology/oncology
• Triage, educate and coordinate care for complex outpatients
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and external resources
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments and side effects
• Document nursing care accurately and timely
