Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, based in Seattle, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide care management for an outpatient panel and integrate nursing assessments, triage and education within a dedicated multidisciplinary team. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate with infusion and clinic staff, arrange referrals, and support research-related care.

WA RN license, BLS, and oncology nursing experience or training are required or provided; benefits include comprehensive

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license or multi-state license (MSL) with WA primary state residence within 60 days.
• Current BLS certification required every two years.
• Oncology nursing experience or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and plan care.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and symptom management.
• Coordinate with inter-disciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Direct and indirect patient care, including triage and coordination.
• Support research team and outside providers to ensure seamless care.
• Attend team meetings and document nursing care accurately.
