Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years revenue cycle and/or patient access experience in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple PMS and EHR platforms preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel) required.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and insurance benefits verification.
• Must complete onboarding courses within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage new patient referral work within department standards.
• Serve as the clinic's first point of contact for patients and stakeholders.
• Assess patient needs to prioritize referrals and gather required information.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and referral details for new patients.
• Update and maintain patient records in the practice management system.
