Job summary

Eisai Inc. is seeking an Associate Director/Director, MSLs to lead a regional team of Medical Science Liaisons, driving scientific leadership in assigned therapeutic areas. The role collaborates with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to support studies and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in pharma/biotech and prior field-based medical team management experience, with travel to conferences and HCP interactions as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 8+ years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience managing field-based medical teams.
• Practical understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA and related guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of MSLs within the region.
• Develop talent within the MSL team, including goal setting, coaching and performance assessments.
• Provide field-level scientific leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure clear targets and accountability within the organization.
