Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, Oncology Key Accounts to serve as the field-based primary contact for major oncology and hematology groups within the Philadelphia/ New Jersey geography. The role focuses on improving patient outcomes by aligning account strategies with approved company resources and messages.

You will engage senior healthcare executives, lead cross-functional collaborations, and develop longitudinal plans while navigating evolving market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 8 years of sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience
• Healthcare/life sciences background with oncology experience strongly preferred (non-sales) or related healthcare experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, sales, account management or managed care
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based engagement with oncology key accounts and networks to drive portfolio utilization and patient outcomes
• Utilize data analytics to understand account performance and identify growth opportunities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract pull-through and account plan execution
• Develop and execute longitudinal account plans aligning with brand strategy and customer needs
• Build trust with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders to support business objectives
