Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in healthcare or patient financial services preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with common office software and typing ability.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire.
• Arizona Criminal History Affidavit to be signed on hire.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient demographics and inputs into the EHR.
• Handles registration, insurance verification, financial counseling and billing.
• Discusses patient financial liability and payment options with families.
• Provides patient services and may transport patients as needed.
• Works in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment.
