Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments to maintain smooth flow.
• Register patients and collect insurance information with accuracy.
• Verify insurance coverage, obtain referrals and authorizations.
• Collect patient liabilities and explain financial policies and payment options.
• Post payments and balance cash drawer; prepare daily deposits.
• Schedule visits and ensure patients are prepared for appointments.
• Communicate with care team and external parties to optimize patient flow.
• Assist with requests for medical records in compliance with laws.
