Job summary

Banner Health seeks a PFS/Front Office Representative for its Scottsdale Neurology Clinic. You will support patient registration, insurance verification, appointment coordination, and financial counseling, delivering courteous service throughout the patient journey.

The role trains at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix until the Scottsdale facility opens in early 2027. You will work closely with patients, providers and staff to ensure smooth check-ins, accurate billing, and timely

Qualifications

Must have knowledge of patient financial services, billing or insurance processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs registration/check-in and data entry, collects signatures and forms.
Verifies insurance eligibility and assists with pre-certifications/authorizations.
Calculates and collects patient liability; explains financial policies.
Enters payments/charges and reconciles daily transactions; balances cash drawer.
Schedules office visits and procedures; confirms next-day appointments.
Maintains effective communication with patients, care teams and staff.
Responds to records requests and assists with patient services to support flow.
Adheres to privacy policies and organizational compliance guidelines.
