Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous medical reception or reception experience preferred.
• Understands Critical Moments of Service techniques and standards.
• Basic keyboard skills and medical terminology preferred.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Epic preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answers incoming telephone calls, determines caller purpose, routes to appropriate personnel and Epic messages.
• Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to staff.
• Schedules patient appointments and checks in using Epic EMR.
• Loads, verifies and updates patient demographics and insurance coverage.
• Collects co-pays and posts payments in Epic; balances cash drawer daily.
