RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care across oncology units, trauma, neurology, cardiology, and more, supporting a Magnet-designated academic medical center.

Night shift, 36 hours per week, 7p-7:30a, with weekend and holiday rotation. Requires ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 2–3 years of Medical-Surgical/Oncology experience.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire.
• 2-3 years Medical Surgical/Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across units within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain patient safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
• Collaborate with other care providers to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Set and evaluate priorities with appropriate interventions.
