Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute is seeking a Patient Financial Counselor to serve as the primary advocate for financial navigation. You will review insurance coverage, estimate patient responsibility, and coordinate prior authorizations to ensure access to cancer treatment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years in healthcare financial counseling or related roles.
• Experience with pre-certification and prior authorization processes.
• Knowledge of patient assistance programs and grant services.

Responsabilités

• Advocate for patients and navigate financial aspects of cancer treatment.
• Review insurance coverage, determine patient financial responsibility and assist with authorizations.
