Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients with cancer for financial barriers and insurance gaps.
• Develop financial plans for patients and families; advocate during treatment.
• Pre-screen patients for COBRA assistance; refer to Oncology Nurse Navigators and social workers.
• Maintain reimbursement and financial reports for patient assistance programs.
• Organize community education on Financial Navigation services.
