Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Clinical Account Executive for the Charleston territory to lead strategic engagement with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists and administrators. You will drive territory plans, optimize patient outcomes, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-impact customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics
• Desire and ability to take on larger roles faster than peers
• Competitive selling skills
• Ability to work within a highly collaborative, team environment
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Persistency and grit with track record of succeeding in a challenging environment
• Driving a personal auto or company car
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening
• Business travel regularly required
• Oncology experience preferred (hematologic malignancies)
• MBA or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
• Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and analytics to optimize execution
• Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all interactions
• Meet HCIR credentialing requirements for access to facilities and organizations
