Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Oncology Department. This part-time role supports patient care under RN supervision, providing vital signs, ADL assistance, and adherence to care plans while promoting safety and compassionate service.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland CNA license, completed CNA training and exam, and BLS certification. English proficiency, basic math, and computer skills are essential, with acute care

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required
• completion of a CNA program and CNA exam is required
• Maryland CNA license is required
• Must be registered as a Nursing Assistant in Maryland
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required
• Strong computer skills and ability to read/write/speak English
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and patient lifting/bending

Responsabilités

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision
• Follow the care plan established and delegated by the RN
• Receive report from the RN at shift start
• Participate in department and organizational education and initiatives
• Contribute to a culture of safety and proper equipment use
• Maintain clean and stocked patient care areas
