Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Oncology Department. You will perform vital signs and daily living activities under an RN, following care plans and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA license active and listed on the Maryland Registry
• High School diploma or GED required
• Completion of a CNA training program and CNA exam
• BLS certification required
• Good math, computer skills, and English communication abilities
• Experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision
• Follow care plans as established and delegated by the RN
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Participate in department education and professional initiatives
• Provide compassionate care aligned with organizational values
