Job summary

Penn Medicine in Philadelphia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the 12 Campus oncology unit. You will work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse to support and assist in delivering high-quality patient care to adults with cancer.

The CNA conducts data collection (vital signs, intake/output) and communicates changes promptly, while assisting with activities of daily living and nurse care planning.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required for employment.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Pennsylvania CNA certification must be active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Report to RN at start of shift; communicate care plan and patient needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility.
• Maintain infection control practices and monitor patient safety.
• Document findings and care provided in patient records and communicate changes to the nursing team.

Education

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

CNA Certification by the State of Pennsylvania

Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
