Job summary

AbbVie Birmingham, AL is seeking a Clinical Account Executive in Oncology. This field-based role serves as the strategic leader of the territory, building trusted partnerships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists and administrators to advance patient outcomes.

You will develop and execute territory plans aligned with brand strategy, deliver compliant scientific engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously optimize performance using data and insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
• Desire and ability to take on larger roles faster than peers.
• Competitive selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative, team environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan.
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
• Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
