Job summary

Compass Oncology is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Tigard, OR. This full-time, 40-hour-a-week role supports scheduling for office visits, labs, and chemotherapy appointments, and coordinates referrals with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of medical office experience, and strong organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology highly desired.
• Ability to apply critical thinking in reading, interpreting, and executing provider orders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments: office visits, lab, chemotherapy and tests as ordered by Provider.
• Coordinate external referrals as ordered by the provider.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information; communicate changes.
• Handle inbound calls and triage to appropriate department or provider.
