Job summary

Kura Oncology, Inc. is seeking an Oncology Account Manager to lead sales within the designated territory. You will engage physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals with compliant, accurate information about Kura’s products, while building strong relationships and achieving sales objectives.

The role requires extensive field activity, travel, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to execute strategic plans and drive long-term success in oncology therapeutics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience with 3+ in oncology/hematology and/or rare disease markets.
• Management of large territories with periodic overnight travel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Achieve the assigned sales objective for the territory.
• Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs and goals.
• Navigate hospitals, IDNs, GPOs and healthcare communities while aligning with cross-functional partners.
• Complete administrative requirements including budget management and CRM reporting within deadlines.
• Promote Kura’s FDA-approved products to healthcare professionals and ensure compliant activity.
