Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager (PAM) to serve as the field-based single point of contact for providers, patients, and caregivers within the Oncology portfolio. The PAM guides onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment journey, handling coverage questions and payer interactions while ensuring compliance and data integrity across program systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, insurance verification, prior authorization, or access criteria.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff with information on oncology care, coverage, and program resources.
  • Conduct welcome calls and ongoing journey touchpoints within approved guidelines and PI.
  • Assist patient enrollment in GSK services and guide through enrollment requirements and consent capture.
  • Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
  • Refer to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, REMS vendors, and Benefits Specialists as needed.
  • Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM with accurate records.
  • Follow HIPAA and internal compliance guidelines and maintain data confidentiality.
