Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring an Onboarding Supervisor to lead the new-hire experience on the production floor. The role emphasizes safety, training, and KPI performance, with strong leadership and bilingual communication requirements.

You will work closely with HR and supervisors to ensure smooth onboarding and timely qualification of new hires. Experience in production environments and a proven ability to foster positive working relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree or two years of college coursework in Communications, HR, or similar field preferred but not required; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Bilingual is required.
• Highly motivated and positive, great people person.
• Previous training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety policies and expectations are met by new hires.
• Manage the overall experience of new hires from day 1 to 60 days or until qualified.
• Administer, track, and evaluate new hire training: hours, status, attendance, turnover, and meetings.
• Supervise and demonstrate hands-on training for new hires on the production floor.
• Develop and promote positive relationships with hires, peers, leaders and clients.
• Meet with supervisors, HR, and coordinators to review production processes and product specs.
• Participate on HR & company committees.
• Achieve KPI: 30- and 60-day retention, safety observations, and JSAs.
• Follow up with leadership to ensure timely qualification and onboarding.
• Other duties as required.
