Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Canton, GA is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to manage the new-hire experience from day one through 60 days or until qualification. You will train and supervise floor training, track hours, attendance, and qualifications on the production floor.

You will foster positive relationships with new hires and colleagues, review processes with supervisors and HR, and participate in safety initiatives. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree or HR coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or two years of college in Communications/HR preferred.
• Experience may substitute for formal education.
• Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational, time management and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a plant/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are followed by new hires.
• Manage onboarding experience from day 1 to 60 days or qualification.
• Administer, track, and evaluate training hours, qualifications, attendance.
• Supervise hands-on training on the production floor and report needs.
• Develop positive relationships with new hires, peers, leaders, and clients.
• Meet with supervisors/HR to review processes and product specs.
• Participate in HR & company committees and safety initiatives.
