Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Onboarding Specialist in Cold Spring, MN to welcome new hires and guide them through their first 60 days, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to thrive. You’ll spend most of your time on the production floor, delivering hands-on training and tracking progress.

The role requires a high school diploma, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong communication. A flexible schedule including weekends is needed for night shifts at Pilgrim’s facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in HR or Communications preferred.
• Experience: Previous training experience preferred; positive and motivated attitude.
• Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish required; strong communication and professional demeanor; ability to work in hot/cold environments; excellent organizational/time management; flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new hires meet all safety policies and expectations.
• Manage onboarding from day 1 through 60 days or until qualification.
• Provide hands-on training on the production floor (90–95% of time).
• Track and evaluate training progress, attendance, and qualification status.
• Foster positive relationships between new hires and supervisors.
• Assist with monthly Alchemy training and provide administrative support.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to ensure successful onboarding.
• Participate in HR and company committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
