Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator in Houston, TX to support new hire orientation, onboarding, and recruiting activities. The role serves as the primary coordinator for orientation sessions and collaborates with the corporate HR team to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate will have HR/recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Human resources experience with emphasis on recruiting and onboarding.
• Recruiting coordination, onboarding, or administrative HR experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with standard office software.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify/correct errors in documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially over the phone.
• Strong organizational/time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Professional, personable interaction with candidates and new hires.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation sessions roughly 1–2 times per week.
• Process and review onboarding paperwork with corporate HR for accuracy and completion.
• Coordinate and process pre-employment requirements including background checks and drug screens.
• Provide administrative support throughout the recruiting process to ensure documentation is complete.
• Conduct initial screening calls using established questions to assess qualifications and interest.
• Communicate professionally with candidates, new hires, hiring managers and HR to support onboarding.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee documentation and ensure paperwork is organized.
