Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead a structured onboarding experience and develop cohesive training programs across multiple facilities. You will apply instructional design principles to create engaging learning experiences and track progress to close skill gaps.

You will support senior operators with development plans and coordinate cross-training initiatives, ensuring up-to-date materials and standards while fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in training, onboarding, workforce development, or related role.
• Experience facilitating group training sessions or workshops.
• Strong organizational skills to track training progress and maintain documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify skill gaps and support structured development plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the new hire onboarding and training process.
• Lead and facilitate training sessions for leadership groups.
• Collaborate with training personnel across all facilities to support and maintain training programs from onboarding to advanced skill development.
• Create and maintain documentation for new hire training, cross-training, safety training, etc.
• Track training progress and ensure new hires meet required competencies.
• Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs.
• Support cross-training initiatives across all departments.
• Assist senior operators with development plans and targeted skill-building.
• Coordinate refresher sessions and follow-up training, ensuring materials and standards are up to date.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership on training progress and needs.
• Promote a positive, supportive learning environment.
