Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital training tools.
• Extensive experience with Learning Management Systems.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Understanding of adult learning methodologies and effective training practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough training needs assessments across all operations, including Safety, Quality, Operations, and Onboarding.
• Design, develop, and implement training programs and materials with cross-functional leaders.
• Lead training initiatives to drive operational excellence and increase productivity by improving programs and processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Develop the annual training plan and structured teaching plans.
• Translate business requirements into training programs to support employee development and career progression.
• Onboard new hires through orientation sessions.
• Adapt training methods to diverse learning styles.
• Mentor and develop junior trainers with coaching and feedback.

We are seeking aTraining & Development Specialistto lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive training programs that support employee growth and organizational development. This role is responsible for enhancing workforce capability across the organization, with a strong focus oncontinuous improvement, operational excellence, safety, quality, onboarding, and productivity.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on learning professional with experience in instructional design, adult learning, leadership, and training program management within a dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across all phases of operations, includingSafety, Quality, Operations, and Onboarding
• Design, develop, and implement effective training programs and materials in partnership with cross-functional department leaders
• Lead training initiatives that supportoperational excellenceby continuously improving programs and processes to reduce costs and increase productivity
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, performance metrics, and continuous analysis
• Develop the annual training plan and prepare structured teaching plans
• Translate business and role requirements into training programs that support employee development and career progression
• Acclimate new hires to the business through onboarding and orientation sessions
• Analyze learning needs and adapt training methods to support a variety of learning styles
• Mentor, develop, and guide junior trainers by providing coaching, feedback, and professional development support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree inEducation, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field
• 5+ yearsof experience in training and development, including instructional design and leadership experience
• Strong knowledge oflearning management systems (LMS), instructional design, e-learning, and adult learning principles
