Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking an HR Coordinator to schedule new hire orientations, enter hourly new hire data into Workday, and assist recruiters with pre-employment tasks. This role also provides clerical support to the HR team and serves as the first point of contact for employees and walk-in applicants.

Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding, processing paperwork, and maintaining data accuracy, while upholding confidentiality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior clerical experience, preferably in HR.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS is preferred.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and deliver hourly new hire orientation to ensure new employees understand policies and procedures.
• Enter new hire data into Workday at time of orientation.
• Coordinate onboarding tasks and ensure timely data entry.
• Partner with recruiting to schedule new hires for orientation and paperwork.
• Screen job bid candidates and coordinate interviews with recruiters and issue offer letters.
• Greet walk-in applicants and answer basic HR policy questions.
• Perform miscellaneous HR departmental tasks (badging, I-9, Pay Card, WOTC).
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Follow safety policies and promote zero-accident culture.
• Assist with employee engagement activities as requested.
