Job summary

Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinics is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to bridge HR, leaders, candidates, and new staff through a full onboarding cycle, from posting to orientation and offboarding. The role supports recruitment events, contract vendors, and payroll setup.

Ideal candidates bring an Associate's degree in HR or related field with 2+ years in recruitment/onboarding, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Healthcare experience is a plus; day shift, full-time, in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; 2 years HR experience may substitute education.
• 2 years of experience in recruitment, onboarding or HR admin support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full onboarding process from posting to new hire orientation and offboarding.
• Maintain onboarding checklists, coordinate scheduling, and share start date information with departments.
• Ensure background checks, drug screens, licensure verification; assist with payroll and benefits setup.
• Partner with IT/EPIC to grant access and permissions; support recruitment events and vendor contracts.
