Job summary

HOPCo in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an HR Coordinator/Generalist to manage hiring and onboarding processes for new employees. You will coordinate job requisitions, postings, offers, orientation packets, and pre-employment checks, ensuring a smooth start for every hire.

You will conduct weekly in-person orientation sessions and virtual trainings, maintain HR records in the system, and support managers with policy interpretation while upholding confidentiality and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with recruitment and hiring practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the hiring process with hiring managers, including processing job requisitions and posting open positions.
• Coordinate the new hire process: sending offer letters, creating orientation packets, follow-up on background checks, drug screens, verification of I-9 documents, and completion of all new hire paperwork.
• Schedule onboarding and corporate New Employee Orientation for new hires.
• Conduct weekly in-person new hire orientations and virtual training sessions for new hires.
• Create and maintain employment badges.
• Administer the new hire paperwork process and coordinate the pre-employment process for all employees. Ensure integrity of employee information in the HR system.
• Oversee the transition of transferring employees and changes in employment status.
• Part of a rotation presenting orientation and compliance training for new hires
• Maintain job description database for all employees.
• Respond to requests for verification of employment and other general requests to include HR Service Tickets.
