Job summary

Compu Dynamics is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to manage the day-to-day onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 60 days. You will be the primary contact for new hires before Day 1, ensuring equipment, access, and travel are arranged and ready.

You will partner with HR on transactions and drive a smooth, engaging ramp for new hires across multi-site operations. The role emphasizes rigorous follow‑through, proactive communication, and adherence to safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in onboarding, HR or recruiting coordination, or operations coordination.
• Highly organized with multiple deadlines.
• Clear, warm, professional communication with new hires, managers, and internal teams.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and tracking work in shared systems.
• Handles confidential employee information with discretion.
• Experience with Paylocity and Greenhouse preferred.
• Experience onboarding a field, construction, or multi-site workforce preferred.
• Experience coordinating IT and equipment setup for new employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns day‑to‑day onboarding execution from offer to Day 60 milestones.
• Serves as single point of contact for new hires before start date.
• Coordinate pre‑onboarding communications and first‑week schedule.
• Request and confirm IT equipment, vehicles, and access before Day 1.
• Schedule first week activities and travel for off‑site orientations.
• Collaborate with HR for Paylocity setup, I-9, benefits enrollment, policy acknowledgments.
• Facilitate safety orientation and ramp plans; 30/45/60‑day touchpoints.
• Track and report onboarding progress; flag ramp risks.
