Qualifications

• 1–3 years in HR, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or related admin role.
• Experience with HRIS or ATS preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple hires and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Experience in healthcare, home health, or hospice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding for new hires from offer to first day.
• Communicate onboarding requirements, paperwork, deadlines, and start dates.
• Initiate, track, and follow up on background checks and other pre-employment tasks.
• Ensure all new hire documents comply with policies and regulations.
• Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, IT, and managers to prepare for start dates.
• Verify employment eligibility and complete Form I-9 within timelines.
• Monitor onboarding progress and resolve delays, keeping records confidential.
• Provide ongoing support to new hires throughout onboarding.
• Assist with additional HR admin tasks and special projects.
