Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA is seeking an Association Onboarding Specialist to guide new employees, volunteers, and rehires from post-offer through clearance to begin duties onsite. You will coordinate with hiring managers, track completion of background checks, trainings, and required documents in HRIS, and help streamline onboarding processes while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees, volunteers, and eligible rehires through onboarding from post-offer to on-site start.
• Coordinate with hiring managers on status, timelines and clearances.
• Track completion of onboarding requirements including background checks, trainings, and documentation; review checklists and pre-hire statuses.
• Add new hires and maintain onboarding records in HRIS with timely updates.
