Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks an Excursions Director to manage shore excursions, coordinate vendor logistics, and engage guests aboard our ships. You will be the brand ambassador, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction across all destinations.

Role involves long hours, high guest interaction, and living aboard during 6–8 weeks on ship per cycle, with travel-related responsibilities and on-board bartending as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Strong public speaking skills and guest interaction.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions, explorations, adventures and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and ground operators to ensure timely service.
• Promote on board sales and brand loyalty program.
