Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions aboard our ships for the 2026 season. You’ll manage all excursions, transfers and vendor communications while representing the brand to guests. Expect long hours, energetic collaboration with the crew, and a focus on delivering memorable experiences.

Ideal candidates hold a hospitality-related degree, strong public speaking ability, and a solid knowledge of U.S. geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism or event management preferred.
• Strong public speaking skills and guest-service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust all shore excursions, explorations and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as a brand ambassador and representative.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors for timely, smooth service.
• Inform crew of daily excursion offerings and prepare excursion briefings.
