Job summary

Brightline is seeking a Train Attendant to join our Onboard Service team in Florida. You will ensure a safe and enjoyable journey for Guests, assisting with seating, beverage service, and information during service disruptions.

The role includes handling payments on a mobile POS and collaborating with Onboard and Ancillary teams. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months in guest service or F&B, ability to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays, and certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in guest service, sales, or food & beverage service.
• Must be able and willing to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Must complete Food Handler and Responsible Vendor certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests in locating seats and escort them; assist with baggage as feasible.
• Provide Food & Beverage service throughout the train using QR ordering and cart service.
• Have complete knowledge of all F&B menu offerings.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and snacks per standards; engage with Guests.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following company standards and verify IDs.
• Assist in handling and resolving escalated Guest concerns professionally.
• Pay attention to Guests with special needs or heavy luggage and assist as needed.
• Provide information during regular and irregular service.
• Assist in training newly hired Train Attendants on Brightline’s steps of service and safety standards.
• Provide light cleaning and resetting of the train at turn-around and terminals.
