Job summary

Hornblower Group's City Experiences division seeks a Server for our vessel dining operations. You will greet guests, serve food and beverages, take orders, and maintain clean, safe dining areas while delivering the RESPECT service system.

The role requires a high school diploma, about one year in a high-volume restaurant, and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. You must lift heavy items and stand long hours; MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in high-volume restaurant.
• Must be able to lift dining furniture and other heavy items.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all dining and service areas.
• Provide information about menu, entertainment options, cruise route and points of interest.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining spaces and service stations.
• Handle payments from guests for onboard purchases.
