Job summary

Hurtigruten is seeking an Excursion Coordinator to join the Expedition Team on board. You will organize and coordinate excursion elements, drive sales of excursions, and maintain strong relations with coast-side suppliers while ensuring guests receive engaging and informative experiences during port calls.

Fluency in English and German is required, along with good computer skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Higher education or relevant experience may substitute education requirements.
• Experience in adventure- or nature-based tourism is preferred.
• Fluent in German and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate expedition elements on board with focus on excursion program.
• Sell and coordinate Hurtigruten excursions and related activities.
• Maintain daily contact with suppliers along the coast and manage bookings.
• Assist in planning programs with the Expedition Team and deliver information sessions.
• Communicate with guests via PA system and coordinate with external tour-leaders.
