Job summary

Hornblower Corp. seeks a Server Assistant to support servers in delivering and clearing food and beverages aboard our vessel. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and safe operation in a dynamic cruise environment.

Responsibilities include guest greeting, seating assistance, keeping dining areas clean, and providing guests with menu and cruise information. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-board setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on a moving vessel and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests.
• Clean up dishes and glassware from guests’ tables to galley.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry to galley for cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all areas and service stations.
• Set up and break down dining room and service stations as required.
• Provide information to guests (menu, service, entertainment, cruise route).
• Assist with greeting and seating guests on arrival.
• Additional duties as assigned.
