Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking an EHS Coordinator to partner with operations, analyze manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety. You will help identify hazards, train staff, and support safety programs across crews with regional leadership.

The role emphasizes hands-on floor presence, incident investigation, and development of best practices to reduce risk while enabling safe production and compliance with regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant experience in EHS, science, or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and regulatory research.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-floor presence to coach managers and workers toward safe behaviors.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions within IMS.
• Collaborate with Area EHS Manager to keep environmental, health and safety programs updated.
• Deliver training and onboarding, including classroom and in-field assessments.
• Conduct periodic safety assessments and track action items to completion.
• Provide guidance on environmental policies and regulations (Storm Water, air permitting, SPCC).
• Review construction plans for safety compliance of new machinery/equipment.
• Share best practices across facilities and assist in developing safe operating procedures.
• Assist in procuring PPE and safety supplies; support Safety Action Teams.
