Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, INC. is seeking an EHS Coordinator to coordinate new hire onboarding, safety trainings, and incident investigations at our facility. This role emphasizes reinforcing safe behaviors and maintaining compliant safety practices.

Responsibilities include training leadership, conducting risk assessments, updating training programs, and supporting environmental activities such as stormwater and spill prevention. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Safety-related degree or certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plus.
• Environmental experience is preferred.
• Some experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Prior experience in training/public speaking preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA and federal/state regulations pertaining to safety, health and environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety training for new hires and ongoing staff.
• Conduct authorized safety training as required.
• Participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Provide training for supervision in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Provide safety communications and daily huddle topics.
• Drive participation by plant employees in safety programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations.
• Review safety programs and documentation for compliance with policies.
• Provide technical assistance for safety-related plant programs.
• Assist with environmental activities such as stormwater and spill prevention.
