Job summary

Crossover is hiring a Youth Development Coach to guide K-3 students through app-based literacy learning on-site. You will diagnose decoding gaps and design short sequences to close them, while maintaining daily goals and supporting classroom routines.

Requirements include a 3-year track with children aged 4-9, 2+ years teaching reading in K-3, and structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.
At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9.
At least 2 years of experience teaching reading in K-3 within last 5 years.
Structured-literacy training or Master's in reading/literacy.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Coach K-3 students through app-based core learning and close reading gaps.
Lead short structured-literacy sessions for 2-4 students.
Maintain daily goals and track progress with weekly data.
Provide on-site supervision from launch to closing and support classroom routines.
Engage parents with updates and support student growth.
