Job summary

Crossover is hiring a Learning Coach to work on-site at a campus, guiding K-3 students through app-based learning with a structured literacy focus and a daily routine from launch to close.

The role requires 3+ years with children and 2+ years teaching reading in K-3, plus formal literacy training or a reading degree. Compensation is $120,000 per year, paid weekly, with relocation support and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on-site at a campus listed above, with relocation support.
• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years of that experience teaching reading in grades K-3, within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject; a teaching certificate is not required.
• Comfortable spending about 90% of your day guiding students through app-based learning, workshops, and campus routines, and 10% on reading sessions.
• Willing to work with all K-3 students, not only struggling readers.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning: spotting who is stuck and guiding them to the right question.
• Running short structured-literacy sessions with small groups, diagnosing gaps and teaching targeted sequences.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and classroom routines to keep six-year-olds engaged.
• Driving students toward weekly app goals using school currency and gamification.
• Staying with students through meals and breaks, addressing frustration with a concrete plan.
