Crossover is hiring an Academic Coach in New York to lead K–3 sessions using app-based literacy tools on-site. You will diagnose gaps, guide short literacy blocks, and maintain engagement through daily routines and campus activities.

The role prioritizes direct student impact, relaying progress weekly, and supporting families with data-driven updates. A Bachelor’s degree and structured-literacy training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years directly with children ages 4–9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years coaching reading in K–3 within last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading/literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coach K–3 students through app-based core learning and close reading gaps.
• Lead short, structured literacy sessions with small groups.
• Maintain daily routines from launch to closing with a focus on growth.
• Drive students to weekly app goals using gamification and leaderboards.
• Provide on-site support and collaborate with campus teams.
