Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an Office Supervisor for an urgent care location to manage administrative, financial, and operational aspects on-site. You will oversee patient flow, scheduling, purchasing, and site opening/closing while fostering a welcoming environment.

This role requires strong leadership, at least 1 year of supervising experience or a management degree, superior communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervising or managing experience or a degree in management.
• Ability to multitask.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Bilingual language skills required or preferred by on-site location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: manage site performance, patient flow, and follow-up after discharge.
• Assist Practice Manager with scheduling for non-providers.
• Order medical supplies, vaccinations, and office supplies.
• Open and close the site as required.
• Assist in administrative and operational responsibilities.
• People Management: communicate effectively with providers, coach and develop staff, and address performance, promotions, or disciplinary issues.
• Business and Patient Management: maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and review patient satisfaction.
