Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an Office Supervisor to oversee administrative, financial, and operational aspects at an urgent care location. You will support the Practice Manager in scheduling, staffing, and site operations to ensure a smooth patient experience from arrival to departure.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and compliance with HIPAA, along with a willingness to work on-site and manage a team of site staff and providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred (relevant experience considered).
• Minimum 1 year of supervising or managing experience required.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communication skills; bilingual preferred depending on location.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: oversee site performance, patient flow, and registration throughput; assist Practice Manager with scheduling and ordering.
• People Management: foster professional communication; coach, mentor, and manage staff; participate in performance and development processes.
• Business and Patient Management: maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; address patient concerns and ensure high quality patient experience.
